An Evansville man attempted to flee from police on a bicycle yesterday after he was seen riding in the middle of the roadway.
27 year old Juan Sexton was stopped and placed into custody near Fulton Avenue.
Sexton was found with a glass pipe, meth, fentanyl, oxycodone and marijuana.
He told police he ran because he had a warrant.
Sexton says that he used the drugs to feed the homeless and for payment to stay a people’s houses.
He is in the Vanderburgh County Jail facing several charges.
