On Tuesday an Indiana State Trooper observed a four-wheeler traveling at a high rate of speed east on River Road approaching Main Street in Patoka.
The rider, 23 year old Riley Hill, ignored a stop sign and an intersection.
The trooper activated his emergency lights and attempted to stop the four-wheeler, but Hill kept going.
The all-terrain vehicle left the roadway and rode through a field toward Hudson Road.
Hill was eventually found hiding in a junkyard and arrested and charged with resisting law enforcement and driving while suspended.
He was booked into the Gibson County Jail then released.
