Court records show Larry Richmond Sr. was released from federal prison Friday after a sentence on gun charges.
He was in turn booked into the Vanderburgh County jail the next day, and will face murder charges.
He is accused in the shooting death of Evansville firefighter Robert Doerr.
That happened in February of 2019 in the yard of Doerr’s home on Oakley Street.
Doerr’s wife Elizabeth Fox Doerr is also charged with murder.
