The Red Cross and Deaconess Hospital is hosting FREE hands only CPR training on Saturday March 4.
It will be at Deaconess Gateway and is intended for ages 14 and older.
According to the American Heart Association, about 90 percent of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests will not survive.
CPR can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival if performed immediately.
The training session is about 45 minutes and pre-registration is required.
