A wrong-way driver caused a serious crash Sunday morning around 1:30.
The vehicle was eastbound in the westbound lanes of the Lloyd Expressway.
Police officers were notified of an accident over Main Street involving two cars that hit each other head-on.
Both drivers were trapped inside their vehicles.
The wrong-way driver was pulled from their vehicle unresponsive, and later died.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner has identified him as 30 year old Jimmy Royalty.
The other driver has severe leg injuries.
