A Evansville man was stopped on his bicycle after ignoring a stop sign Friday night.
60 year old Kenneth Moody told officers he had drugs on his person and asked if he could throw it away and they let him go.
While Moody was being cuffed he managed to get away on foot.
An officer used a taser to stop Moody before he fled again.
The suspect tried to grab the taser from the officer, but was unsuccessful.
Moody was double cuffed and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
He was found with 2 baggies of meth.
