Treacherous weather impacted tri-state roads this morning causing multiple accidents.
Gibson County closed a stretch of Highway 41 in Fort Branch for about an hour because of icy conditions.
Drivers were encouraged to stay off the roads and stay home.
Schools closed for the day and many businesses either closed or opened late.
Slick roads will remain a problem throughout the day with temperatures staying in the 20’s.
