Evansville Police received a tip that a man running from the law would be getting off of a bus at the Greyhound Station.
When police entered the ticket office they approached a male and female and started to question them.
When officers attempted to pat down 35 year old Argelius Croft he fled and ran out of the office heading towards 5th and 6th streets.
He was apprehended after he tripped and fell on Vine Street.
During a search Croft was found to have a rifle and 47 rounds of ammo.
Croft is a convicted felon out of South Carolina.
He is now behind bars in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
