The City of Henderson made a big announcement on Thursday in hopes to bring tens of thousands of visitors annually.
A new distilling company is coming next year and will be a welcome addition, and will continue to set Kentucky apart as the world’s leading producer of bourbon.
The distillery will also create 12 full-time jobs along with a $5 million dollar investment.
The company will locate downtown on the former Henderson Municipal Power & Light campus.
The bourbon business will open their doors in late summer or early fall of 2024.
