Murder was one of the charges dropped for one of the six people connected with the death of 3 year old Kamari Opperman.
Allison Smithler pleaded guilty to one count of dealing narcotics.
The plea deal reduced her charge from a Level 2 to a Level 5 felony.
The toddler died in October 2021 as a result of ingesting a fentanyl pill.
During the investigation, over 5,000 fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills were seized, along with $30,000 cash and a gun.
Smithler’s sentencing is next month.
