The FAA ordered ground stop that’s delayed morning flights in specific locations is ending about now.
That will allow the American Airlines flight to Charlotte North Caroline, scheduled for departure at 7:30, to take off.
In addition an incoming flight from Atlanta to Evansville, Delta Airlines Flight 46749, diverted to Chattanooga.
The ground-stop, occasioned by the failure of an FAA computer system, is set to expire at 8:00am Evansville time, so schedules should be getting back to normal.
