The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that happened Thursday morning in the 18000 block of Old Princeton Road.
Officials believe the driver was heading south, hit a guardrail and landed in a ditch far off the road.
The Dodge Charger was found flipped on it’s top in three feet of water.
Divers from the Evansville Fire Department recovered the body from the vehicle.
The victims family was able to track the location of his car from pings coming from his cell phone.
An autopsy is scheduled for this morning.
The name of the person will be released sometime today.
