A man is dead after he crashed his truck on Evansville’s west side.
It happened early Sunday morning in the area of Upper Mount Vernon and Boehne Camp Roads.
When deputies arrived on scene they found a truck on the side of the road with the driver trapped inside.
First responders attempted life saving measures, but it was too late.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the truck drove off the left side of the road, hit a utility pole, and was pinned against a tree.
The name of the driver has not be released.
