The name of the woman shot and killed Sunday morning on Clayton Avenue has been identified as 37 year old Gamia Stuart.
Detectives identified the suspect as 44 year old Clifton Fletcher.
Prior to her death, Stuart was on the phone with a friend.
Gamia told her, that Fletcher was following her.
Last April the suspect had pointed a gun at Stuart and threatened to kill her and himself.
The victim died on the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
Fletcher is in the Vanderburgh County Jail charged with murder.
