An Evansville taxi driver called police to the Grandview Apartments stating that a female passenger refused to pay her cab fare.
When police arrived they found 28 year old Whitney Farmer in the lobby asking for money to pay her fare.
While being placed in handcuffs police say they could smell alcohol on her.
Farmer was told that she had an outstanding warrant and became angry.
Officials had to put her on the ground because she tried to escape.
She then kicked an officer twice, spat, and made physical threats towards him.
She was arrested and is facing multiple charges including battery against a police officer.
