The 37th annual Christmas in the Park celebration kicks off on Friday in Henderson.
The festivities will start at 6:00 p.m. with the lighting of the 67 foot Christmas tree by Mayor Steve Austin.
The Henderson Merchant Christmas Parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday followed by a visit from Santa Claus in Central Park.
There is a mailbox for children to use to send letters to Santa until December 16th.
Make sure to include a return address to receive a reply.
The park is adjacent to the county courthouse.
This is a free event.
