You could clog up your sewer line if you pour fats and greases down your drain this holiday.
Instead, says the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, re-use the oils if you can, or if you must, pour it into a disposable container, seal the container into a plastic bag and throw it into the trash.
You can also save it, and bring it to the Used Cooking Oil Disposal Drive at the CK Newsome Center Saturday, 8:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.
