On Saturday 86 veterans will make the trip to Washington, D.C.
This will be the 13th Honor Flight for Southern Indiana.
Last night the group got together for a meet and greet at the Evansville Coliseum.
Veterans, volunteers and family members talked about how excited they are about this trip of a lifetime.
They will visit the World War II and Vietnam Memorials.
Take a bus tour to the National Mall and stop by the Arlington National Cemetery.
The flight arrives at the Evansville Regional airport that night around 7:30.
The public is invited to welcome them back home.
