The Evansville man that was severely injured in late August is getting help from a local organization.
Skip Chamberlain was in his dump truck at Cass and S. Weinbach Avenue when he was hit by a speeding car that ran a stop sign.
Chamberlain hit a pole flipping his vehicle breaking several bones in his hips and legs.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles reached out to the family and decided to build a wheelchair ramp for Skip.
Chamberlain says he is very blessed to have an organization like the Eagles to help a person in need.
The ramp is expected to be done by Saturday.
