An Evansville man is facing a list of charges after a police chase and brief standoff on Sunday.
A Vanderburgh County Deputy attempted to have 53 year old John Rybolt pull over.
Instead of stopping, Rybolt pushed his passenger out of the car, hitting her with his vehicle.
This started a chase with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office.
They tried using stop sticks, but that didn’t terminate the pursuit, so the chase ended.
Deputies found the suspect’s car in the backyard of his home.
Rybolt was located hiding in a backroom.
He was arrested and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
