Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear along with law enforcement is promoting “Operation Crash Reduction” to remind drivers the importance of seat belt use and other safe driving practices.
Police will be out in force during this campaign that starts today and runs through the weekend.
This crusade will emphasize seat belt use to save lives and prevent injuries due to traffic crashes.
Governor Beshear says, “While drivers can never control who they are sharing the road with, one thing within everyone’s control is the decision to buckle up and put the phone down”.
