A Mt. Vernon man stood in front of a judge in a Posey County circuit courtroom Wednesday where he was given the maximum sentence of six years.
32 year old Robert Wolf pled guilty to multiple charges, including battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
Wolf admitted to choking a fellow inmate until he passed out.
He was already housed after being sentenced last March for killing a pit bull puppy.
In addition, Wolf was serving a separate sentence for battery against his 3 year old step-daughter in 2018.
He will serve the six year prison sentence after he completes the sentences previously handed down to him.
