Booth #1 begins on the North Side of Franklin Street at Wabash.
#1 Granted
We tasted the PUMPKIN BREAD PUDDING. This is made by Gayla Cake for Granted and the recipe is secret. The consensus was that secret or not, it was good. Tastes like pumpkin pie. They also serve smoked pork chop sandwiches for $6 and have a $10 meal deal with pork chop sandwich, Grippo’s, chocolate chip cookie, and a bottle of water.
#2 Boy Scouts Troop 399
Look for the red Papa John’s trailer. They have pizza of course and KETTLE CORN that they make themselves, SKI SLUSHIES, APPLE CIDER SLUSHIES, and they see both cherry and regular cider in the cute little milk jug style containers.
#3 Highland Baseball/Little League Challenge
They are also in a red trailer and have fried green beans, potato springs, and you don’t have to choose between corn dogs or pronto pups…because they have BOTH!
#4 Nile Patrol Brain Booth

#9 Perry Heights
One of the friendliest booths on West Franklin Street! Enjoy Grippo’s Crusted Grilled Cheese or Jalapeno Poppers Filled Grilled Cheese…follow up with a Caramel Apple Cider Slushie. My personal favorite are the Koolickles. What’s that you ask? It’s pickles. Pickles that have been marinated in KOOLAID! And surprisingly or not surprisingly very good. Cherry, Black Cherry, Watermelon, Grape…lots of flavors. My fave was the grape. Plus, they are only $2 and pair well with one of their huge grilled cheese offerings.

This is where you can let the good times roll with a cajun menu of Crawfish Etouffe, Shrimp Creole, Red Beans & Rice, and Gumbo. They also have a GERMAN BREAD PUDDING with WHISKEY SAUCE (served with or without whipped cream). Our team really liked this bread pudding. Could it be the sauce? Perhaps.
#24 Bethany Christian Church
This booth was full of super friendly volunteers today as well! And it was full of cheesecake. Specifically, a WESTSIDE CHEESECAKE. Made specially for the booth from 2nd Street Bistro in Boonville. It’s cheesecake that is Ski infused, drizzled with a Ski syrup, and some Grippo’s dusted across the top. This was a FAVORITE for the team. High marks all the way around. Maybe grab a slice after having their famous Zippy Chicky. Check out their trophy case. Everything is great at Booth #24!!!

#27 Sigma Tau Gamma
You can enjoy their famous Stromboli and then get some dessert from these friendly college students. They are offering a Deep Fried Pumpkin Spice Honey Bun. It’s a honey bun, deep fried, with powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, and optional pumpkin spice. You’re welcome. Our team liked this one a lot and it smells heavenly.
#28 St Joseph School PTO
The Home of the Bobcats and some super friendly service. They have the popular Old Heidleberg Cheese Soup (just get DJB to tell you how great this stuff is!) But our team tried the Sausage Burger. The sausage is HOME MADE…and then prepared on site fresh.
#29 Resurrection Church
We are aware that there is a line around the block for another group that sells Chicken and Dumplings…but you might want to check this booth out. They offer made from scratch chicken and dumplings that our team really liked! They also have pizza and for dessert, Kuchens.

Home of Jim’s Famous Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich. They lost Jim Hager this year, but they carry on with an excellent, pulled by hand BBQ sandwich.

When we came by this booth, some volunteers from Grace Church of Nazarene were pitching in to help. Neighbors helping neighbors! We love that! We also love HAND DIPPED PRONTO PUPS! You can get puppy chow there too to munch on while you walk down West Franklin Street.
