An Evansville man is facing federal charges in the death of a child.
Arcinial Watt was indicted by a federal grand jury for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl resulting in death.
Also, Possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl.
He brought over 5,000 fentanyl pills to a house on East Michigan Street to sell.
Officials say 3 year old Kamari Opperman died after getting a hold of one of the pills.
She was not taken to the hospital for treatment.
Other children in the home were given Narcan.
If found guilty, Watt faces up to life in prison.
