Indiana home sales show a modest gain in August to end the summer buying season with a small degree of stability.
That’s according to the Indiana Association of Realtors who say sales of existing homes rose 4 percent from July to nearly 9-thousand closings statewide.
Year-to-date home sales in the Hoosier state topped 61-thousand, a decline of 4.5 percent over 2021, but still ahead of 2020 and 2019.
