The general elections in Kentucky are on November 8 and Daviess County officials say they need more helpers to work the polls.
County Clerk Leslie McCarty says they currently have 116 workers, but they need 200 or more.
Poll workers are an important asset by helping to make the voting process run smoother.
They are responsible for opening polling centers and checking in voters.
Those interested must be registered to vote and attend a training class.
The deadline to sign up is October 1.
