Apartment Fire In Henderson Under Investigation

Ten people had to be evacuated around 5:15 Sunday morning from their apartment after fire was reported coming from a first floor door and window.

The Henderson Fire Department arrived to the structure at the intersection of 2nd and Ingram Streets, across from Holy name Catholic Church.

The bulk of the fire was contained to the apartment of origin.

One person got out of the building before crews arrived and was assisted by the Red Cross.

That person was not hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
