A former employee of Owensboro Health is accused of sexually abusing a victim who was physically helpless in March 2021.
Officials in Daviess County say, 41 year old David Owen was arrested earlier last month and faces multiple sex abuse charges.
Owensboro Health confirms Owen was an employee and on duty during the incident.
He is currently out of jail after posting a $75,000 bond.
He is due back in court on January 11.
