The fate of accused murderer Samajui Barnes was in the hands of a jury on Tuesday.
After a few hours of deliberating they found the 18 year old guilty in the murder of Johnathan Stitts.
Last October, Evansville Police arrived to the scene on Parrett Street near Haynie’s Corner and found the 37 year old Stitts with multiple gunshot wounds.
Barnes will be sentenced on September 8th at 9:00 am.
