A murder investigation continues after police were dispatched Tuesday morning around 2:45.
A witness says he heard 5 to 6 shots fired in the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue and that a person was laying in the alleyway.
When officers arrived the victim was not breathing and attempted life saving measures until AMR arrived.
The coroner says 19 year old Tel’majae McGee died of multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time.
