The Evansville Police Department is reminding drivers to slow down and use caution when driving through and near school zones.
Expect increased patrols during morning and afternoon hours.
They will be watching for stop-arm violations, speeding, seat belt violations and other forms of reckless driving.
The EPD has joined more than 200 police agencies across the state for the back-to-school Stop Arm Violation Enforcement Campaign, better known as SAVE.
