An announcement was made on Wednesday that Major League Baseball is considering Bosse Field as a possible location for a special event game.
The attraction for the MLB is the field’s 107 year old history with more than 100 Hall of Famers made up of players, coaches, or broadcasters.
$2.2 million in projects would need to been done to get the field in proper condition and another $1 million to update seating that’s been there since the 1950’s.
Bosse Field is the third oldest professional ballpark in the country.
