The Evansville Police Department were called to a home around 3:30 Sunday morning in reference to shots being fired on North Fifth Avenue.
Seven people were in the home at the time of the shooting, four being children under the age of eight.
Officers say four bullet impacts were found outside of the home.
Two of the four rounds had gone into the home through furniture and walls.
A witness says Lamontae Bass was outside a window before shots were fired.
Bass was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
No one inside the home were injured.
