A man accused of killing his grandmother appears in court to have his jury trial set.
John Stevens told dispatch his grandmother was dead in her back yard on East Michigan Street.
Investigation revealed that 85 year old Betty Ann Stevens died of strangulation and blunt trauma to the head.
Trial for John Stevens is set for January 30.
