Evansville Police responded to the 1800 block of East Franklin Street around 5:00 Sunday morning.
The occupant of the home told police she was awakened by three gunshots.
Officers found three bullet holes in her residence, along with several threatening messages written on the outside of the home.
Three shell casings were found outside and two bullets were found inside a bedroom were the victim was sleeping.
No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
