If you build it they will come.
In this case it’s a travel trailer parked on top of a sandbar on the Ohio River complete with a picnic table.
The man made island was put there by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to keep the river open for barge traffic.
Sediment gets pumped out of the channel and eventually forms a piece of real estate.
A few years ago heads were turned when a truck found its way to the sandbar.
No word yet on who did it or how the trailer got there.
