Posey County’s Emergency Management has lifted that county’s burn ban thanks to recent rainfall.
But the open burning ban continues in effect for Spender, Perry, Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties.
The burn ban does not include charcoal and gas grills but does include most other forms of open burning.
The ban remains in force until further notice.
