Evansville firefighters were dispatched to Berry Plastics Drive near the airport on a report of a warehouse fire.
Arriving units found employees evacuating the building, and smoke showing.
It took a while for firefighters to find the source, which turned out to be a chemical wash tank.
Employees tried unsuccessfully to put it out before fire units arrived.
The fire was confined to the wash tank and did no damage to the building.
No one was hurt.
