The rainfall the tri-state received last week was not enough to lift the open burn ban.
Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick, Spencer and Perry Counties still have it in place.
Evansville Environmental Protection agency says the open burn ban will continue until conditions improve.
The ban includes recreational fires, burn barrels, fires for agricultural and ditch clearing.
The ban does not include cooking fires in charcoal or gas grills.
