Racing fans celebrate as horse racing returns to Ellis Park.
The meet begins tomorrow and it’s a biggie.
The races will commemorate the park’s 100th anniversary.
Park general manager Jeff Inman recalled the 2020 meet when horses raced with no fans in the stands because of the COVID 19 pandemic.
But Inman says now things should be all the way back to normal.
He says fans may notice a repaired roof and better sound in the grandstand, things among the $4 million in renovations at the track that opened in 1922.
