An Evansville driver was stopped for making an improper turn on the Lloyd Expressway and Wabash Avenue just after midnight on Sunday.
Police say when they approached the car they smelled burnt marijuana.
25 year old Dawnqua Shemwell was found to have seven Xanax bars in his wallet and a loaded handgun on the floorboard.
Police say Shemwell has a felony warrant out of Vanderburgh and Gibson Counties.
He was arrested and booked on several charges.
