The search for a Warrick County fugitive has been resolved.
Thursday evening officers from the US Marshal’s multi-agency taskforce located 64 year old Michael White near Lynnville.
An exchange of gunfire occurred before the suspect retreated into a barn.
All efforts to communicate with him were unsuccessful and the Indiana State Police SWAT found the suspect to be unresponsive.
Officers secured the scene and provided medical care until EMS arrived.
Warrick EMS discovered that the suspect succumbed to his injuries.
No officers were injured during the exchange of gunfire.
White had been on the lam since Tuesday after officials tried to serve him a warrant.
