Storms rolled through the tri-state just after 7:30 this morning bringing high winds and rain.
Several trees fell bringing powers lines down with them.
A transformer caught on fire causing traffic lights to go out at Bergdolt and Oak Hills Roads.
The storms left over 18,000 CenterPoint Energy customer in the dark.
In Kentucky, Kenergy reported 7,000 customers without power.
Relief from the heat is on the way with temperatures in the middle 80’s over the Father’s day weekend.
