A large tree fell around 3:00 this morning causing a power outage for some CenterPoint Energy customers.
This happened at the intersection of West Jennings and North Madison Streets in Newburgh.
A woman that lives in the neighborhood said it felt like someone kicked her bed when it hit the ground.
It took several hours for crews to clear the area.
