An Evansville grandmother spent the night in jail after leaving her young grandchildren home alone.
A witness told police Jacquline Elbahga yelled at the girls to get in the car.
When they ran the other way Elbahga drove off.
Officers found the juveniles running along a lake near their home.
A neighbor says, it’s not the first time this has happened.
Officers say the home didn’t have furniture for the girls and the cabinets contained little food.
When authorities caught up with the grandmother, she told them “I want to (expletive) them up a lot of days.”
