The U.S. Department of Agriculture along with Women Infants and Children are offering waiver benefits to families for baby formula not normally allowed on the program.
WIC officials in Kentucky say they will take part.
Vanderburgh County coordinator Mary Ellen Stonestreet says they will not, as of now, but will still help parents in need.
She explains they don’t want anyone to purchase formula not made in the United States, because it’s not approved by the FDA.
