The Evansville Police Department were called to Allens Lane and North Fulton Avenue over the holiday weekend.
Officials say they discovered a man with a gunshot wound to his upper chest.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to live.
EPD says they don’t have a suspect in custody at this time.
