Crews from five fire departments are mopping up after a controlled burn in Warrick County got out of control.
It happened on Spurgeon Road near Lynnville with the call coming in about 8:30 last night.
Reports say the fire spread beyond it’s containment area, and could be seen from the interstate several miles away.
A parade of trucks was needed to bring water to the scene.
The fire was contained and did not threaten any nearby trees.
Crews are still on the scene but the fire is now out.
