An Evansville man is going to a federal prison for six and a half years after being found guilty of drug and firearm possession.
In 2019, 25 year old Cody Pfettscher was drunk and playing with a gun when he shot his girlfriend in the stomach, while she was holding their infant.
Police say they searched the apartment a found a pistol, four 3D printed firearms, one 3D printer, two laptops and weed.
He was in possession of “ghost guns” firearms without serial numbers.
U.S. Attorney Zachary Myers say, illegal ghost guns pose a growing threat to our communities, especially when they are in the wrong hands.
