The Union County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by US Marshals concerning a murder suspect in the county.
Three deputies and a Sturgis K-9 formed a task force and arrested 46 year old Lashanda Person at her home.
She was originally from Christian County and had been living in Sturgis.
There was a warrant for her arrest on the strength of an indictment from last month.
Her arrest comes in connection with a murder back in 2006.
